Laurentian is “the small school with a big heart”

We are the home of the Laurentian Lions.

Our school community is committed to the early French Immersion program, introducing French at the junior kindergarten level. Our JK to 6 program is designed for children whose first language is not French. We offer maximum language exposure allowing young children to absorb a second language more willingly with native-like fluency.

We value the close and supportive working relationship between our Parents’ Council, Parents’ Association, staff and students. Our parents and staff have built a partnership in educating our children to create well-rounded citizens. We consistently work towards high academic achievements, involvement in year round sports activities, the arts and cultural events with an emphasis on French culture. We are proud of our student leadership academically, musically, and as fundraisers in the community. We are proud of the successes our school continues to make in the areas of both math and literacy in both official languages.
